Besides my passion for writing, I also love science. As a young boy I used to spend many hours observing the night sky from the terrace of my home in India.
The stars stoked my curiosity and with it came an endless appetite for knowledge. I was naturally inclined to pursue higher studies in astrophysics and after nearly twelve years at university, I completed my graduate and doctoral studies in physics and engineering, respectively.
Throughout all of this, I teetered when it came to finding a balance between writing and science. The solution was simple. I just had to put the two together: science writing. Now, I am a very happy and productive full-time science writer for the magazine Lab Manager.
I have also freelanced for Youtube channels such as PBS Spacetime and am a script writer for WatchMojo Unveiled. Having published some of my initial feature articles for magazines such as Massive Science and New Scientist, I continue to enjoy the freelancing gig alongside my fulltime job.
The Procrastinating Scientist is my personal science blog where I get the opportunity to be a little more flexible on the topics I wish to write about. On a monthly basis, I post an article on topics ranging from physics, mathematics, biology, science history, and science art. In the case of the latter, it is an additional outlet where I can bridge another creative pursuit of mine with science.
So, if science is your cup of tea, head over to The Procrastinating Scientist and check out my posts!
