Having spent most of my life traveling from one country to another, the concept of home was less a permanent entity as it was a transitionary circumstance.
I spent many of my years at university wrestling with my identity and trying to find a a balance between the diverse worlds and cultures I had encountered and incorporated into my personality.
This struggle would peak in the final years of my undergraduate studies and was accompanied by its fair share of chaos. It was around this time, when I was at my lowest, that I would meet my partner.
Much like me, she too was struggling between many worlds and together, we would solve the puzzle. It was not easy. We were hounded by the insecurities and doubts of our past and the future remained ever so uncertain. In the end, none of it mattered when we were together.
Indeed, it was A Little Bit of Everything.
That is how I got to write about us, in a story that covered an important chapter in both our lives, and which remains the foundation of our relationship today. Much thanks to my then partner and now wife who is my pillar of support and motivation.
